Previous library or special collections experience
preferred. Research skills/experience necessary. |
| Position Duties and
Responsibilities: |
Serves as a page pulling materials from the
stacks (must be able to lift up to 50lbs.). Re-shelves
materials. Some filing and clerical type duties. Assists
professional staff with patrons: in the reading room, over
the telephone, and via e-mail. Assists patrons with computer
use, microfilm reader, and audio/visual equipment,
photocopying requests, and reference requests. Various
duties as assigned. |

| Hourly pay rate: |
$5.85 |
| Scheduling remarks: |
Must be able to work a fixed
schedule which may include extended evening (5-7p.m.) and
Saturday (9a.m.-1p.m.) hours (No Sundays). Works a four
hour shift. |

able to follow direction, experienced with scanning
documents/photographs and interested in history. |
| Position Duties
and Responsibilities: |
Assisting the oral historians and field
historians with a variety of functions. While the primary
function will be scanning of archival material other duties
may consist of general clerical duties, assisting other
departments, and special projects. |

Hours must be scheduled
between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. |
