Book a Tour of the exhibit

The Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library will host organized tours for students and meetings of professional historical, archaeological, and musical groups.  Outside of the Southwest Collection Library’s regular hours, the exhibit will also be available, by prior arrangement, for community groups that might want to use the setting for receptions and presentations.

The following are events that are taking place in the Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library in conjunction with the exhibit.

October 4, 2008 - Texas Medieval Association.  The morning plenary session and the evening reception will take in the Formby and Reading Rooms.

October 24-25, 2008 - Texas Archaeological Society Annual Meeting.  The reception on the 24th will take place from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Formby Room.

October 25, 2008 -  The Early Modern Image & Text Society Conference on "Death in Words & Images: The Case of the Early Modern Hispanic World" will take place from 1:30-5:30 p.m. in the Formby and Reading Rooms.  Link to conference brochure.
